The movie has exceeded expectations and has garnered praises from both critics and fans.

The film earned $15.8 million on Friday and is set to gross $54 million for the weekend, which will amount to one of the lowest first to second weekend drops ever for a major superhero movie, according to THR.

So far, Wonder Woman is pulling in $163.6 million domestically so far and it's expected to surpass $200 million later this weekend. Still, her answer is not at all surprising; Many have compared Wonder Woman to Richard Donner's Superman.
