Civil Rights Leader Compares Georgia Democrat To JFK

So it's an open question how often the President and national issues will be raised when they debate each other for the first time on television Tuesday night.

The idea is that Democrats like Ossoff don't have to feed liberal intensity by harping on Trump and Republicans in a way that risks turning off potential swing or crossover voters.

"I didn't get to pick where I was born", she said, slamming Ossoff for being financially backed by coastal liberals.

There are a few other factors beside national trends and Trump's travails working in the Democrats' favor in the Georgia-6th District race. Because the Democrat literally can't vote for himself because he doesn't live in the district in which he's running for office.

The Tehran terrorist attacks
Two terrorist attacks on the late Imam Khomeini's Mausoleum and Iran's Majlis (Parliament) left 17 dead and 52 wounded. On Friday, authorities announced the arrests of 41 elements of Daesh in connection with the twin attacks.

"If you were committed to going in and defunding breast cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood, why did you take the job in the first place?"

"We know why a caricature candidate who has spent more than $10 million on TV ads suddenly doesn't want the exposure of a national audience", the Republican's spokesman Charlie Harper said.

Handel welcomed Trump for an April fundraiser, and the President sent a fundraising email on her behalf.

Ossoff emphasized the need for strong counter terrorism policies and strong relationships and cooperation within the intelligence sharing community.

Stanley Cup Finals: Evgeni Malkin snipe gives Penguins 3-0 lead
Our guys have a tremendous amount of confidence him. "I think when our team plays that way, we're at our very best". As the Penguins were skating down the ice on their way to the fifth goal of Game 5, a very unusual play happened.

"Yes, I do", Ossoff said. That means a lot of TV ads, like this one featuring testimony from women who have survived cancer and are critical of Ossoff's GOP opponent, Karen Handel, who resigned from the Susan G. Komen Foundation amid an uproar after the group ended grants for Planned Parenthood. "As chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, I was able to balance a budget without tax increases. Ours has gone from $300 to $1,200 [.] so the status quo is unacceptable".

And previewing Democratic attacks certain to dominate the 2018 campaigns, Ossoff criticized Handel for "supporting a bill that guts" protections for Americans with pre-existing medical conditions. He issued a statement last week condemning the President's decision to pull out of the Paris climate accord, followed up by a press email calling out Handel for not immediately publicizing her view on the consequential move.

Handel said it is clear that the city's infrastructure was allowed to decay, but said she was encouraged by what happened with the reconstruction of 85. "My record is one of results - in the private sector and in public service", she said. And Ossoff supports their risky Iran nuclear deal, allowing billions for the leading sponsor of terrorism.

"He had substance and actual real problem-solving ways to take care of the 6th", Ossoff supporter Sonaly Wadehra said. "That is the definition of a rubber stamp". Handel didn't do herself any favors when a question about the minimum wage came along, flubbing what should have been a straight forward answer regarding the Democrat's call for a "living wage" by saying she didn't support a "livable wage".
