Predators even Stanley Cup final at 2-2 with win over Penguins

Predators center Frederick Gaudreau might get the keys to the city of Nashville before he gets a stall in the team's crowded locker room.

His Pittsburgh Penguins fell to the Predators, 4-1, Monday at Bridgestone Arena, and now the Stanley Cup Final is tied at two games apiece.

Down 0-2 but back at home, Nashville rode the energy of the crowd to two blowout wins, despite the fact the Penguins actually played better than they did in Pittsburgh.

It's now a best-of-three match-up for the Stanley Cup trophy starting with Game 5 Thursday night in Pittsburgh.

The 24-year-old undrafted rookie, who didn't score in nine games during the regular season, has three goals in six playoff games.

Several countries have cut ties with the tiny Gulf state over accusations of supporting extremism in the region. It also enjoys a more nuanced relationship with Israel than do most states in the region.

The 6-foot-5 Finn looked so shaky in the first two games, giving up eight goals on just 36 shots. They feel the puck and we haven't had the success that we would like here in this early part of the series.

Pekka Rinne just had one of those saves that you stare at yourself in the reflection of the screen and think "Who even am I?". he stopped the initial shot, the follow up, then sprawled across the entire goal crease to stop more shots. "It's a great feeling".

"Like our team has done the whole playoffs against Chicago, St. Louis, Anaheim, we showed really good composure", P.K. Subban, 28, a Nashville defensemen, said after the game, per ESPN. Pittsburgh's Jake Guentzel did it in the first two games of this series and Roy Conacher did it for Boston in Games 3, 4 and 5 against Toronto in 1939.

The goal was Crosby's first in a Stanley Cup Final since June 2009.

He also moved into 20th all-time in National Hockey League playoff points but the Predators clamped down after that.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the move was rooted in longstanding differences and urged the parties to resolve them. The United States, Russia, France, Iran and Turkey have all called for the row to be resolved through dialogue.

His best may have been his stop on Chris Kunitz's breakaway at 3:29 of the second.

"He was terrific. I said that after Game 2". Did you have him matching the combined goal output of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel thus far in the series? Crosby faked a shot than deked around Rinne to score on a backhander at 15:57, tying the game at 1.

"Throughout every period, there were some chances there we didn't capitalize on", said captain Sidney Crosby. Diving back to the open net, Rinne made his fourth and most important save in the flurry of chances to keep the score 2-1. Arvidsson scored on a breakaway after Fisher poked the puck ahead to him while he was falling to the ice.

Fisher celebrated his 37th birthday on Monday. With an assist, Crosby now has 160 career playoff points (56 goals, 104 assists) and tied Mike Bossy, Gordie Howe, Bobby Smith and Al MacInnis for 20th all-time. I work in a restaurant, mostly nights during game times and usually have to search all over the web to see who's streaming games just so I am able to watch while at work.

Streak stopped: Before Monday, Matt Murray was 9-0 all-time when he started a playoff game after a Pittsburgh loss.

Their economy contracted or stagnated as a result of conflict-related closures, and they became more dependent on foreign aid. It seems fitting that a UNEF observer to the crisis that sparked the Six-Day War a half-century ago has the final words.
