Apple's HomePod Puts Siri in a Speaker

We are presuming all the new and exciting features announced for iOS 11, such as Drag and Drop, easier split-screen functionality and the Files system will come to both the iPad Pro 9.7 and the iPad Pro 10.5.

Apple had plenty of other announcements. The update, for now, is available as a developer preview, and will be offered for iPhone 5s and beyond, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation, and iPad Mini 2 later this year. After unending complaints that Apple had abandoned the creative power users that made the company what it is, here was a new machine that finally got closer to what those loyalists wanted: a sleek, nearly absurdly powerful traditional computer. Your Siri interactions are synced across devices (and encrypted.) I don't know how much you'll appreciate the new, supposedly more natural-sounding male and female Siri voices.

Apple also introduced a new version of its business-oriented iPad Pro at an intermediate size with more storage, a better display and an improved camera. It will now be able to perform translations from English to Chinese, French, German, Italian, or Spanish. The Home Pod is also being primarily pitched as a wireless music speaker, rather than an all encompassing digital assistant. Many people have expected this device to be launched and it is finally official.

"Siri understands context, your interests, and how you use your device", Mashable quoted Craig Federighi as saying.

Hey, Siri: Wait'll you see what Apple's up to
You will find a new tab "Today" that will show you important releases as well as a dedicated games section in the new App Store . According to former Amazon employees, the company at times brings in tangential business concerns as leverage in negotiations.

Apple has entered the intelligent speaker market with the announcement of its premium-priced HomePod.

The event started with Apple CEO welcoming the audience, praising the Apple developer community which already has 16 million registered developers and added three million previous year. Of course, for many the biggest star of the show was iOS 11.

One of the main features that Apple is introducing with iOS11 is person-to-person payments.

Users will be able to see Apple Maps, Apple's navigation application, while driving - though they will be unable to input destinations.

Trump believes climate is changing, says Nikki Haley
Trump "knows that it's changing and that the USA has to be responsible for it and that's what we're going to do", Haley said. Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto promptly replied , "Pittsburgh stands with the world and will follow Paris agreement".

In the middle of Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference keynote this week, there was an nearly audible sigh of relief.

While those devices are not available on store shelves, there might still be some users - especially those living internationally - that might still be using them.

Apple has redesigned the App Store in iOS 11 and it is also bringing in a revamped Podcasts app. Once it does, it will suggest turning on "Do Not Disturb While Driving".

iPhone will detect when you may be driving and automatically silence notifications to keep the screen dark. We have got an update on Portrait mode, which works even in low lights and supports OIS and True Tone flash. Live photos get continuous video loops and bounce effect.

Washington Was Aware of Qatar, Saudi Arabia Backing Terrorists
Several countries have cut ties with the tiny Gulf state over accusations of supporting extremism in the region. It also enjoys a more nuanced relationship with Israel than do most states in the region.

But arguably the coolest new feature is the launch of GymKit, which allows you to pair your Apple Watch with your gym equipment to more accurately track your workouts. Users will be able to create a profile so their friends can follow them, listen to playlists they have shared and see the music they listen to most.
