The long time staple of ESPN's Monday Night Football will return after a six year hiatus.

Williams and his signature song, "All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night", which opens with, "Are you ready for some football?" is expected to premiere, in a new version, on September 11.

ESPN dropped Williams after critical remarks about President Obama over a golf outing and also calling him "the enemy" and comparing him to Adolf Hitler. However, the network is clearly trying to bring back a party-like atmosphere to Monday nights.

Both ESPN and Williams said they made a decision to remove the song.

The Fox News hosts asked Williams to explain the analogy.
