List of Arsenal's seven FA Cup wins under manager Arsene Wenger

Arsenal salvaged some silverware from a traumatic season as they beat Premier League champion Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday thanks to Aaron Ramsey's late victor.

Sanchez scored a controversial opener when he first handled the ball and followed it up where Ramsey interfered with play from an offside position.

It didn't hold Antonio Conte's men down as they drew level in the 77th minute when Diego Costa's effort deflected off Per Mertesacker and past David Ospina - although the Colombian worldwide will feel he should have done better.

Diego Costa hauled Chelsea level on 76 minutes, but they switched off two minutes later, allowing Ramsey to nod in from close range.

All of which made it unusual that Arsenal started the game in a way that could legitimately be described as the most torrid 30-minute spell Chelsea have endured all season.

Monday's apparent suicide bombing at Manchester Arena killed 22 people , including several young girls, and injured nearly 60. The BBC first reported that a decision was made to temporarily freeze disclosing details about the case with USA authorities.

Wenger won his seventh FA Cup, more than any other manager in the competition's history.

The Blues went behind in dubious circumstances after just five minutes when Alexis Sanchez stroked the ball past Thibaut Courtois.

It was Aaron Ramsey who sealed the record-breaking FA Cup triumph for Gunners in the match which ended 2-1.

Arsenal then proceeded to hit the post, twice in quick succession, first with Welbeck's header from an Ozil corner beating Courtois but not the woodwork, before the ball rebounded off of Ramsey and back off the same post. The Welshman had also scored the winning goal in the 2014 cup final against Hull.

President Rodrigo Duterte responded to the situation by declaring martial law throughout his native island of Mindanao.

But, like so many times this season, Chelsea showed impressive resilience.

Chelsea started the second half with more tempo and Footballer of the Year N'Golo Kante warmed Ospina's fingers with a deflected drive from distance before Moses brought a fine save from Ospina after Costa played him in.

It was the right decision, but certainly not an easy one to make.

A little after Victor Moses forced a nice save off David Ospina, preferred by Wenger to Petr Cech in goal, a sumptuous Sanchez pass got Bellerin away on the right, but the right wingback's cross found a deflection and Ozil and Ramsey, who were both free in the middle, were denied a tap-in. It was their best display of the season. The Gunners finished the season fifth in the Premier League, leaving out of the Champions League for next season.
