Golden State Warriors must avoid complacency before Finals begin

Golden State were 129-115 winners against San Antonio on Monday for a 4-0 series victory in the Western Conference finals. The defending world champion Cleveland Cavaliers have been an unstoppable force in the East, whilst in the West, the Golden State Warriors have dismantled everyone in their way so far. Cavaliers now lead the Eastern Conference finals 2-1. Draymond Green added 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Warriors, who became the first team in league history to start the playoffs 12-0.

Kevin Durant scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Golden State is shooting 50 percent from the field while averaging 118.3 points in 12 playoff games.

San Antonio Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili walked off the AT&T Center Monday evening to a standing ovation, signalling the possible end to an illustrious career that last 14 years.

Music legend Gregg Allman Dies at 69
His love for his family and bandmates was passionate as was the love he had for his extraordinary fans. "We will all miss him". Along the way, Allman also released solo albums, including the well-received " Laid Back " (1973) and " I'm No Angel " (1987).

The Warriors outscored the Spurs by 85 points in the series after Kawhi Leonard suffered a sprained ankle in Game 1 with 7:52 remaining in the third quarter and San Antonio leading 78-55.

"We'll see what he does but it's been a great learning curve for me to grow under him".

"We didn't score enough points", Popovich said with a blank look on his face.

But in the post-game interview, the 39-year old Ginobili said nothing is final yet as he will decide on his career move in the following weeks. "The opponent was better than us, and in this case, way better than us".

Biden: 2016 election tapped into "our darkest emotions"
Specifically, he said, "This past election season churned up some of the ugliest realities that still remain in our country. Biden, speaking at Schoellkopf Field on Saturday, told students to "go out and wake us up".

Owner Joe Lacob also certainly remembers the roller coaster ride of the last three seasons, telling ESPN's Marc Spears that Golden State does not care if it plays Boston or Cleveland in the Finals, but he'd prefer the Cavs.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has called Mills the spirit of the team and has joked he does not want to praise him publicly because it would only raise the price to re-sign him. He put his ego deep inside his locker before every game to come off San Antonio's bench and that produced a bond with current Spurs teammate Tony Parker retired Tim Duncan that produced four National Basketball Association titles. No team executes on both ends better than this one.

All they have to do is take the Celtics or Cavaliers and ender them inert. "On offense, no team is more unselfish finding the open man and that sort of thing".

After it was over - and after the presentation of the conference title trophy - the Warriors went back to their locker room with big smiles but without overt celebrations for the history they just made. As long as Golden State stays winning, there's no hurry for Kerr to come back.
