The CW announces 2017-18 fall schedule

The network announced some sweeping TV schedule changes in advance of their Upfront presentation to media and advertisers today.

"I think it is not unlike with what we had with Riverdale last season", says Haskins of mining the audience that is familiar with the name and recruiting new viewers drawn by the "new take".

Tuesday already saw a shakeup earlier this season when The CW moved Legends of Tomorrow to follow The Flash.

This series will follow the lives of an elite unit of helicopter pilots called Shadow Raiders. In the fall, it will be given the added pressure to help launch new series Valor. Past year was the network's biggest one yet as Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow all came together for a 3-show crossover for four nights which brought in some of the highest ratings for the network of all time.

Oil turns positive as market awaits EIA data
The EIA forecasts US production to average almost 10 million bpd by the end of 2018. Riyadh and Moscow say they should be extended until March 2018.

It remains to be seen though how CW will air the 4-show crossover this year, given that Legend of Tomorrow will continue to air on Tuesday nights at 9/8c after The Flash, while Arrow is moving to a new timeslot at Thursday nights at 9/8c.

"Dynasty" will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m., following "Riverdale", a moody reimagining of the Archie comics.

The CW will add two dramas next fall, including a female-centric reboot of the 1980s prime-time soap "Dynasty", with two more for midseason. So, get ready for the catfights!

"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" stays on Friday nights, followed by "Jane the Virgin", which moves from Mondays.

Beside her was a NY state license plate and a side mirror that broke off from the auto , a police officer at the scene said . The injured included Elsman's 13-year-old sister, Ava, according to Michelle Karpinski of Portage Public Schools.

Putting Jane with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on Fridays gives the net a romantic-comedy block that is also proving to be a draw beyond the traditional model.

"We are very fond of the show", said Pedowitz, noting that "Jane the Virgin" performs especially well in delayed and digital viewing, arguably making its place on the schedule less critical.

Midseason brings in Black Lightning and Life Sentence with Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, along with returning favorites The 100, iZombie and The Originals.

The matchup of both Kesler and Johansen will certainly draw the attention of the officials as this series continues. For better or worse, Kesler's attempt to get under the Predators' collective skin so far has been a success .
