Trump faces deepest crisis of presidency with Comey memo

Trump, who said in a speech earlier yesterday that no politician in history "has been treated worse or more unfairly", has long bristled at the notion that Russian Federation played any role in his November election victory. In January, American intelligence officials reportedly warned their Israeli counterparts that any intelligence shared with the then-incoming Trump administration could be leaked to Russian Federation and passed to its ally, Iran.

Additionally, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said he would not comment on The New York Times report, but that he was "happy" with Dermer's statement of support for the US-Israel relationship. ("I hope you can let this go, " Trump said.) That shook loose Sen.

Ahead of discussions with President Donald Trump, Former FBI Director James Comey prepped with his team on ways to respond to anticipated questions so that he would not come across as confrontational during the ongoing Russian Federation probe, according to an official close to Comey.

The Republican and Democrats leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee said in a joint statement overnight that the appointment is "a positive development and will provide some certainty for the American people that the investigation will proceed fairly and free of political influence".

The wall is in Jerusalem. "It's clearly in Jerusalem", he said Tuesday. 'It's an issue that's had serious consideration. McMaster said Tuesday the question of whether the Western Wall is part of Israel would require a "policy decision".

Also Tuesday, in an extraordinary turn of events, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to turn over to Congress records of Trump's discussions with the diplomats.

He explained that when Trump allegedly made the request to end the investigation of Flynn in February, Comey could have immediately warned the president that the conversation was inappropriate and that a request like that should never be made again.

The decision came 10 days before Donald Trump had been sworn in as president, in a conversation with President Barack Obama's national security adviser, Susan Rice, who had explained the Pentagon's plan to retake the Islamic State's de facto capital of Raqqa with Syrian Kurdish forces whom the Pentagon considered the U.S.'s most effective military partners. And I'm sure the Republicans in Congress would prefer to avoid the heartburn of impeachment proceedings.

First, he's continued to downplay the importance of investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election (to help him) even though virtually all intelligence officials believe the interference was real. That means he can issue subpoenas, present evidence to a grand jury and bring charges - all the powers of a federal prosecutor.

The benchmarks are trading around levels last seen before the joint deal to cut output was announced by OPEC and non-OPEC states. The contract lost $2.30, or 4.8 percent, to settle at $45.52 a barrel on Thursday.

Republican Adam Kinzinger, a member of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, was among Republicans calling for an independent probe.

It's not hard to see Democrats using this to argue that Republicans buried whatever curiosity they had about ties between Trump and Russian Federation as they were working to elect him president.

A senior administration official said former Democratic vice presidential candidate and Senator Joe Lieberman, one of those interviewed by Trump, was among the leading candidates.

Kepler singled to center in the first to drive in Grossman, and Grossman plated Ehire Adrianza with a single in the fourth. Mark Reynolds added a two-run single as the Rockies tied for second in the majors with their 13th road win of the season.

Sunny Hostin followed up by confirming what a former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent told Rachel Maddow last night: in Comey's line of work, "If it happened and you didn't write it down, it didn't happen", is the guiding principle. If it were me, I'd say one appearance, period. Adversity makes you stronger.
