Steve Kerr rips President Trump, won't rule out run for political office

As a retired five-time NBA Champion, Kerr has transition from a skilled player on the court to a tenacious coach that seems to have a grip on every thing.

Coach Steve Kerr, sidelined by illness since the early days of the playoffs, appeared to be moving closer to rejoining the Warriors amid news Wednesday that he will accompany the team to San Antonio for the Western Conference finals that continue Saturday. Kerr has been around the Warriors during practices and in the locker room during games. He even addressed his team at halftime of both games.

Iraq, Azerbaijan and Algeria have also indicated their willingness to see the production caps through to the end of the year. Some of the oversupply indicators waned last week, however, and crude oil prices are up more than 10 percent from May 8.

Most importantly, it's good Kerr is feeling well enough to make the trip.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers told The Game radio in San Francisco that the ailing coach would make the trip to Texas, a sign of progress that could herald his return to the bench should the Warriors reach the NBA Finals. With that being said, Myers made it clear Kerr is still not ready to coach.

Steve Kerr has never shied away from comments about politics or Donald Trump, and he recently told Sports Illustrated that someone with the current president's qualities wouldn't make a good National Basketball Association coach. He wouldn't say that. "The more he's around, the better".
