Flynn says he won't honor Senate's subpoena in Russia probe

Flynn says he won't honor Senate's subpoena in Russia probe

Burr's office put out an official statement from the senator an hour later, confirming what he told reporters. "We've got a full basket of things we might want to test".

Flynn's lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment or confirmation.

"I think that is accurate". Flynn's attorneys had said in the past that he might not turn over requested documents.

Celtics win National Basketball Association draft lottery, Lakers at No. 2 keep pick
But according to Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck , the team already seems set on what to do with that prized pick. He's 6'5 with a lot of athleticism, and NY might take him because his game is an ideal fit for the triangle.

Shortly after he was sacked, Comey declined to testify to the Senate Intelligence Committee behind closed doors.

"I feel very strongly about this, and what I'm going to make clear to both the chairman and the vice chairman is that I'm really going to go to the mat to make sure that he complies with the subpoena", Wyden said.

One person Flynn has reportedly kept talking to: Donald Trump. Weeks after his departure, Flynn acknowledged that he had been on the payroll of the Turkish government while serving as a top surrogate and adviser to Trump's campaign - even as the GOP standard-bearer accused his rival of making "pay-to-play" arrangements with foreign governments.

President Trump Denies Asking Comey To Scuttle Flynn Investigation
He also highlighted the "very, very strong recommendation" he got from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. You can't let them get you down, can't let the critics and the naysayers get in the way of your dreams".

Flynn's tenure in the White House was cut short by revelations that he had misled Vice-President Pence about the nature of his conversations with the Russian ambassador.

According to documents released by House Oversight Committee ranking member Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), Flynn did not disclose the RT payment when he applied to renew his security clearance in January 2016, just a month after he traveled to Moscow. Comey reportedly documented the request in a memo at the time. Trump fired Comey last week and admitted that the bureau's Russian Federation probe was on his mind when he did so. Burr added that the committee, which is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 election, would be evaluating its next steps.

Several reports have suggested that Flynn's failure to comply could lead to a charge of contempt of Congress. Flynn, through his lawyer, had earlier asked for immunity from "unfair prosecution" in exchange for agreeing to cooperate with the committee.
