Flynn reportedly told Trump team he was under investigation before inauguration

Take limestone action figure Michael Flynn, the ousted national security adviser under investigation by the FBI, whom Trump hired against his predecessor's advice, and who held his job for weeks after former acting Attorney General Sally Yates warned he was compromised by Russian Federation.

Trump discussed the information during a meeting last week with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russia's ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, who some have characterized as a spymaster.

Also Tuesday, in an extraordinary turn of events, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to turn over to Congress records of Trump's discussions with the diplomats. Bustle has reached out to the White House for comment. Trump himself said he had "an absolute right" as president to share "facts pertaining to terrorism" and airline safety with Russian Federation.

Weeks before President Trump's inauguration, Michael Flynn told the transition team he was under federal investigation for working as a paid lobbyist for Turkey during the campaign, the New York Times reported late Wednesday.

Asked what the company is doing to prevent such exploitations, he cited "basic IT security blocking and tackling". Security experts are advising victims to wait before paying the ransom. "It's not rocket science", Litan said.

But the memo documenting Comey's February meeting with the president that prompted that invitation may not be the only memo that exists.

In light of the memo's allegations and the fact that Trump fired Comey days after he requested additional resources for the Trump-Russia probe, the DoJ has appointed a special counsel to lead the investigation and get down to the bottom of all of this - if, in fact, an underlying story exists. He said he would give the Federal Bureau of Investigation a week and then "if we need a subpoena, we'll do it".

Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader of the Senate, said simply, "It would be helpful to have less drama emanating from the White House".

The Justice Department investigation was not seen as disqualifying Flynn from the national security adviser position, people close to the retired Army lieutenant general told Fox News.

The Demolition Of White Hart Lane Is Well Underway Already
Mauricio Pochettino's side lost 4-2 to Premier League champions Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley last month. I said before I'd love to score the winning goal and for it to happen is brilliant.

The White House vigorously denied it all.

Vice President Pence, who headed up the transition, was notified in a November letter from the top Democrat on the House oversight committee that Flynn's firm had lobbied on behalf of a foreign power. Trump eventually signed off on the mission, but only after Flynn was sacked.

The intensifying drama comes as Trump is set to embark Friday on his first foreign trip, which had been optimistically viewed by some aides as an opportunity to reset an administration floundering under an inexperienced president.
