Dissecting The Star Trek: Discovery Trailer

Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) and First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) seem to be aboard the USS Shenzhou in the trailer, as pointed out by Reddit user lalafalafel.

Flynn reportedly told Trump team he was under investigation before inauguration
He said he would give the Federal Bureau of Investigation a week and then "if we need a subpoena, we'll do it". Trump eventually signed off on the mission, but only after Flynn was sacked .

It has been months of speculation concerning Star Trek: Discovery, and with CBS All Access finally offering the very first official trailer to the masses at its presentation in NY yesterday afternoon. It will be a prequel, taking place 10 years before 1966's original "Star Trek" series. Plus, we get to see Doug Jones as a new alien species and Chris Obi playing a very different-looking Klingon. Good cast and looks like a decent series, but I'm still coming to terms with having no Spock, given it's before his time. Did you know that the Vulcan talking in the trailer is supposed to be Spock's father, Sarek? A lot of people know how cheap CGI could look in a sci-fi series, but this show - well, the trailer at least - manages to pull it off.

Brazil's Temer denies corruption charges

There will be two Starfleet ships traversing the universe of CBS's Star Trek: Discovery, but that doesn't mean fans have gotten a live-action shot of the titular ship yet. I, for one, am pumped.

John Terry - Good Fit For Swansea or Past It?
Terry, 36, is set to bring the curtain down on his Blues career in the champions' final league game against Sunderland on Sunday. I don't know what his thinking is, whether he'll go on here in the Premier League or overseas , that's all unsure at the moment.

"There's a few people that we like and we want to carry on what Star Trek does best, which is being progressive", Fuller told Collider. "So it's fascinating to look at all of these roles through a colorblind prism and a gender-blind prism". Do expect newer trailers to be released in the months to come, which ought to be able to increase anticipation among viewers and hopefully translate to blockbuster viewership figures.
