Fans accord warm welcome to victorious Misbah at Lahore airport

Misbah was warmly welcome here at the Allama Iqbal International Airport on Wednesday morning.

Misbah was welcomed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, including Director Cricket Operations Haroon Rashid, and his fans.

Flower petals were showered on Misbah-ul-Haq by the fans, garlands were put in his neck, and bouquet was presented to him to let him know that "cricket will miss you".

Younis' career batting average of 52.05 is also the best by any Pakistani batsman and the third best by any batsman from Asia.

He later announced that the two-day summit reached "broad consensus" on the project and that China will host a new forum in 2019. India, meanwhile, refused to attend the forum because one of the Belt and Road projects passes through Kashmir and Pakistan.

To a query, he said indeed it was an outstanding performance on part of the team to first time beat the West Indies in their own country.
