F1 2017 Announced For August With the Return of Classic Cars

Again developed by Codemasters, F1 2017 is headed to PS4, Xbox One, and PC (through Steam) on August 25, 2017. The McLaren will initially be available only to preorder or launch day buyers as part of the Special Edition, and for those who choose not to adopt early, the MP4/4 will be sold separately at a later date. Now, the studio has published the first trailer for the game, also revealing that classic cars will return to the franchise.

This year's entry will include the return of classic F1 cars for the first time since F1 2013. The historic cars will also be available to race in online multiplayer, time trials and other game modes.

This will be through invitational events that happen during the "even deeper" new career mode.
