'We need an answer next week' - Koeman gives Ross Barkley utlimatum

Manager Koeman is not prepared to risk losing the player on a free transfer when his current £65,000-a-week contract expires in just over a year's time.

He said: "There is still one week for him to decide. The board is working a long time for Ross to stay for a long period", said the Dutchman.

"Either he accepts the contract or we sell".

Should Barkley, who is one of English football's most high profile names, leave Goodison Park, Everton will undoubtedly be looking for a replacement.

"If you take so much time (in signing) you have doubts (about staying)".

Hearn, who is planning Joshua's schedule, said that Fury still had a lot of hurdles to clear before a fight could be arranged. Tyson Fury has claimed that he could beat WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua with one arm tied behind his back.

"I don't know it's up to the player and he needs to make a decision".

"Were already trying to get players who want to play in the front positions for next season".

The last update was on Thursday morning when Marca explained Everton had "put an offer on the table" for the Malaga forward, who, at this stage, was thought to have said "no" to Sevilla after reports from Radio Marca Malaga emerged.

Koeman added: "I think it's his responsibility and the responsibility also of his agent to say yes or no". We still have three very hard games left.

He has got the talent, the potential, the ability - we've seen it before - but Everton, for whatever reason, do not seem to be getting the best out of him on a regular basis.

But the boos became an uproar when DeVos said she would visit the grave of the school's founder. Despite Jackson's remarks, students still protested and DeVos stuck to her prepared speech.

How good has Barkley been this season?

"We had talks about the future, about ambitions, but that's between us".

At 23, the midfielder is entering a critical phase of his career - you sense that either his potential will or won't be fulfilled in the next 18 months to two years, and there are huge question marks over whether he can do that at Everton.
