Venezuelan Women Protesters Face Security Forces

Looting broke out this week in cities such as Valencia, which looked like a disaster zone with bars on shop windows bent and windows broken.

This post was syndicated from The Guardian Nigeria Newspaper. The state prosecutor's office confirmed Lugo died after being shot in a protest. At least 36 people have been killed and hundreds injured since a new wave of demonstrations began after a decision by the High Court of Justice that tried to assume the powers of the parliament that is controlled by the opposition.

U.S. President Donald Trump's national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, met with Venezuelan National Assembly President Julio Borges in Washington on Friday to discuss the ongoing crisis and need for the government to adhere to its constitution.

"We are deeply concerned about the Maduro government's violent crackdown on protesters in Venezuela", the statement said.

On the other hand, 21-year-old Estonian player Kontaveit stunned defending French Open champion Garbine Muguruza in a marathon three-setter.

The Venezuelan opposition said on Sunday it would not participate in the National Constituent Assembly convened by President Nicolas Maduro to rewrite the constitution. He and the opposition have blamed each other of using armed groups to sow violence. But that call has been viewed with suspicion, if not outright hostility, by his critics, who see it as a way for the embattled president to solidify his rule and do away sidestep elections. The response they received was cheers was from the crowd.

Thomas started his takeover in the fourth quarter, leading a Celtics comeback, including this nasty move on Markieff Morris. Getting this kind of scoring production from a point guard is uncommon, which makes Thomas' game that much more impressive.

Haley also raised the issue of Venezuela's detention of an American citizen, Joshua Holt, arrested in Caracas almost a year ago on what U.S. media said was false evidence planted by police.

Yaminne's mother said he barely survived with multiple fractures and a collapsed lung after being run over by the truck, which had been set aflame by a Molotov cocktail moments before.

His mother said that Yaminne witnessed the fatal shooting of Bassil Da Costa in 2014, during a previous round of anti-government protests. If the government "continues with this madness", Venezuela will be ungovernable, he said.

"The Maduro regime must respect Venezuela's constitution and the voice of its people".

Keys for the Blues in Game 4
But as we saw last night in the Ducks/Oilers game 3, a team can drop both home games and respond on the road. Louis' best player throughout the day, including 17 in a second period where the Blues were outshot 18-4.
